Nepenthes (lowii x veitchii) x boschiana, XXL specimen #2This is a specimen plant from Exotica Plants and is around 2' across. This cross has proved to be outstanding for us. We've grown it outdoors and in greenhouses ranging from lowland to highland. The pitcher are very dimorphic, being large with a flared peristome when in the lower stage and then exhibiting a more lowi esque form in the uppers. The specimen for sale is around 2' across

We have found this plant to be incredibly vigorous under intermediate and highland conditions

Though this is certainly a highland plant in temperature preference

It’s a very robust cross that is tolerant of a wide range of conditions which puts out an abundance of rosettes and colorful pitchers

The upper pitchers have colorful striping on the peristomes and are infundibular shaped

On top of that

pitcher coloration and shape is expected to be variable

nectar producing glands

It's a vigorous hybrid in lowland through highland conditions

We grow this one under intermediate and highland conditions but also suspect it would do well as a highlander

This product is considered a Lowland Tropical plant

The form sold here is a clone from Malesiana Tropicals with provenance from around Sri Aman in Sarawak

The plants currently offered are random assortment of clones from Borneo Exotics
