Textile Pulley 05This old object was sourced at an auction of rare collectors items being sold by private sellers. It is an old textile pulley hand carved from wood. These pulleys are commissions works, created in traditional style, for functional use rather than ritual. The carving of a pulley symbolises the quality of the weavers work, the more detailed the more skilled. These pulleys acquire a beautiful patina from years of handling and use. Stand is included.
