Description
Size 36 (US Women's 5.5) Jette of Norway Early 1970s LEATHER Cross-Country Ski Boots - New Old Stock - New New NewNever worn new old stock meaning new, but OLD! Jette was a brand created and marketed by the Gjvik Skofabrikk ("shoe factory") in Gjvik, Norway. Jette was a leading brand of ski boots in Norway in the 60s and 70s, and for a spell had a license from a fledgling German sports equipment maker to use the "three stripes" markings on their products. Interestingly, while all of the markings say Jette, the insole says Adidas an early collector's item!!! This
the "World's Worst Airline" (it's their advertising slogan)

There is the faint appearance of a serial number on one of the skis above the binding
The waterslide decals are largely unblemished
Material: bamboo
we purchased them in January '24 from a seller in Lillehammer
with a low profile only interrupted by the center ridge at the tip middle of the ski that protected against warping (big prob with solid wood skis)
