Silver Plated Butterlamp with Auspicious Symbols - 13.5cmThis 'Butterlamp' or candle holder was handcrafted in Nepal from solid copper and is plated in silver and engraved with the 8 Auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism. A butterlamp is traditionally filled with butter or oil and a handmade wick and used as a light offering on a shrine, most often in conjunction with a set of shrine offering bowls. A simple alternative to butter is a tealight or other type of candle to make your light offering. Size: 13.
