The Metro Burger diner closed its doors in the early 90s but its sign remained in situ as part of the Screen Cinema complex until demolition works commenced in Feb 2019. Thankfully the quick thinking guys behind Dublin Ghost Signs, The Locals and Reverb teamed up and managed to acquire the sign by chance. They spent several months repairing and restoring the sign to its former glory
